Jaipur, October 18: As part of the five-day Deepotsav celebrations, the Govind Devji Temple will host a free Maha Lakshmi–Gayatri Yajna on Sunday, October 19, from 8 AM onwards, under the divine guidance of Mahant Anjan Kumar Goswami. The sacred event aims to invoke blessings of prosperity, well-being, and spiritual peace for all devotees.
The Yajna will be performed following traditional Vedic rituals by a spiritual team from Gayatri Shaktipith Brahmpuri, under the direction of Shantikunj Haridwar. Temple administrator Manas Goswami shared that the Yajna will include offerings made with special sacred materials while chanting the Shri Lakshmi Gayatri Mantra for wealth, happiness, and the removal of suffering. Offerings of lotus seeds (Kamal Gatta) and sweet Kheer will be made to the holy fire to seek divine growth and abundance.
All devotees will be provided with free puja and havan materials, and no personal items need to be brought. However, those wishing for additional spiritual benefit may bring camphor, cloves, cardamom, or guggul incense from home.
To encourage discipline and punctuality, devotees who arrive at the Yajna venue before 8 AM will receive special gifts, including a Diwali Puja portrait, cow-dung-based sacred materials, and Suhaag items. These items will be offered at the Lord’s feet during the evening Sandhya Jhanki on Saturday and sanctified with Ganga water before distribution.
During the event, Gayatri Parivar’s chief trustee Om Prakash Agarwal will deliver a special address on the conscious and wise use of wealth, emphasizing spiritual prosperity alongside material success.
The Maha Lakshmi–Gayatri Yajna is open to all, inviting devotees to come together in prayer and gratitude as Deepawali approaches, symbolizing the victory of light, abundance, and divine blessings.
