As the NDA inches closer to another landmark triumph in Bihar, propelled by the combined popularity of Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Modi, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address BJP workers this evening at the party’s Delhi office.
NDA Moving Toward a Two-Third Majority
Bihar’s Assembly has 243 seats, and the majority mark stands at 122. The BJP and JDU contested 101 constituencies each, while the LJP fielded candidates on 29 seats. HAM and RLM contested 6 seats each.
According to the latest numbers:
- BJP ahead in 90 seats
- JDU ahead in 80 seats
- LJP leading in 29 seats
- HAM in 5 seats
- RLM in 4 seats
These figures put the NDA comfortably past the majority benchmark, steering it toward a strong two-thirds majority.
Modi’s Consistent Post-Victory Visits to BJP Headquarters
PM Modi has made it a practice to visit the party office after major electoral wins.
Earlier this year, on February 8, he visited the BJP headquarters following the party’s victory in the Delhi Assembly elections.
He has also appeared at the headquarters after the BJP’s wins in Haryana, Maharashtra, and the Lok Sabha elections.
