Patna: Voting for the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 has concluded with a record voter turnout. All eyes are now on November 14, when counting will begin at 8 a.m. and the final results will determine the political fate of the state.
Ahead of the results, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited a temple, a dargah, and a gurdwara in Patna, seeking blessings. Earlier in the day, he underwent a routine health check-up at Medanta Hospital before offering prayers at Mahavir Temple, visiting the High Court dargah, and then heading to the Patna City gurdwara, where he was seen wearing a green turban.
Political Leaders Make Confident Claims
As the exit polls continue to spark debate, political leaders are issuing confident statements about their prospects.
HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi asserted that “there will be no return of jungle raj.”
Pappu Yadav claimed that the Mahagathbandhan is set to form the next government, while the RJD dismissed exit polls as “misleading,” saying they trust the exact results.
Meanwhile, Jan Shakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav, contesting from Mahua, rejected the exit poll numbers outright, saying, “I don’t believe in exit polls. We’ll see what happens on November 14.”
He added, “I am winning from Mahua. We’re preparing not for celebrations but for work.”
BJP Workers Prepare for Celebration
On the other hand, BJP workers in Patna have already begun preparations to celebrate what they believe will be a decisive NDA victory. Party members were seen making 501 kilograms of laddoos in anticipation of the results.
BJP leader Kallu stated confidently, “The NDA’s win is certain.”
As Bihar waits for counting day, the political atmosphere remains charged with hope, faith, and fierce anticipation.
