Why Prices Fell

The drop was mainly driven by a stronger US dollar, rising bond yields, and profit-booking after recent rallies. Geopolitical developments and fluctuating crude oil prices also added to the selling pressure in bullion markets.

Global Trends

International gold prices on COMEX also showed weakness, contributing to the decline in domestic rates. Analysts expect volatility to continue in the coming days as investors monitor global interest rates and geopolitical news.
