Patna: Bihar witnessed a major political moment today as Nitish Kumar today took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time at a grand ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, and several senior BJP leaders were present. Chief ministers of Haryana, Assam, Gujarat, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Odisha, Delhi, and Rajasthan also attended the event.
A notable moment on stage came when Chirag Paswan touched the feet of Jitan Ram Manjhi and JP Nadda to seek their blessings.
Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers. A total of 26 legislators took oath as ministers — including 8 from JD(U), 14 from BJP, 2 from LJP(R), and one each from RLSP (RLM) and HAM.
