The Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU) in Banswara is gearing up to host a grand celebration of literature, dialogue, and art. The official poster for “Mahi Talk Fest 4.0 – Ekatma Bharat” (Integral India) was formally unveiled today by the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Keshav Singh Thakur.
Organized jointly by GGTU and Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Udaipur, the three-day festival is scheduled to take place from January 23 to January 25, 2026, at the university campus.
Poster Launch Ceremony
The launch event saw the presence of key members of the Mahi Talk Fest Core Committee, including Dr. Sunil Khatik, Mrs. Ruchi Shrimali, Ashish Upadhyay, Randhir Vyas, and Devansh Goswami.
Senior university officials also graced the occasion, including Deputy Registrar Prof. Rajesh Joshi, Academic In-charge Prof. Shafqat Rana, Controller of Examinations Prof. Pramod Vaishnav, Research Director Prof. Narendra Paneri, Affiliation In-charge Dr. Rakesh Damor, and Assistant Registrar Dr. Lokendra Kumar.
What to Expect at Mahi Talk Fest 4.0?
According to the details revealed on the poster, this year’s festival will feature a diverse range of activities centered around the theme of “Integral India”:
- Exhibitions: A major book exhibition by the National Book Trust (NBT) and other publishers. Special galleries will showcase “Art on the Constitution,” “Tribal Heroes,” and the “Horrors of Partition.”
- Literary Discussions: Intellectual sessions will cover topics such as “Integrity in Folk Literature,” “Radio & Literature,” “150 Years of Anandmath & Vande Mataram,” and “A Century of National Service.”
- Cultural Showcase: Evenings will be vibrant with performances including a puppet show on Veerbala Kali Bai, a musical storytelling session on Meera Bai, a theatrical play on Rani Avantibai, and a display of Mallakhamb and Baori Sadhana.
- Competitions: To engage the youth, competitions will be held for Reel Making (Theme: Civic Etiquette), Storytelling (Theme: Spiritual Stream in Vagad), and Drawing.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Keshav Singh Thakur stated, “Mahi Talk Fest will serve as a powerful medium to establish the region’s cultural, literary, and intellectual heritage on the national stage. It will play a vital role in connecting the youth with dialogue and creativity.”
