The upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 is shaping up to be one of the most powerful mid-premium gaming smartphones of 2026. Xiaomi has officially started teasing the device for the Indian market, confirming that the Turbo series is finally making its India debut. The smartphone is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, a massive 7560mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display aimed at gamers and power users.
Reports suggest the Redmi Turbo 5 could launch in India by late May or June 2026 and may be sold through Amazon India. The smartphone was previously launched in China and gained attention for combining flagship-grade gaming performance with a huge battery and aggressive pricing.
The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3500 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the phone may pack the new MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster gaming and multitasking performance.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is its huge 7560mAh battery, which could make it one of the strongest battery-focused smartphones in its segment. Xiaomi is also expected to offer 100W wired fast charging support, allowing users to quickly recharge the device despite its large battery capacity.

Industry reports suggest the Redmi Turbo 5 price in India could start between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000, putting it directly against performance-focused smartphones from iQOO, Poco, OnePlus, and Realme. Xiaomi has not yet officially confirmed the India launch date or final pricing details.
