London-based smartphone brand Nothing has officially launched its latest Nothing Phone 4a series globally and in India. The new lineup includes Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro, bringing significant upgrades in performance, camera technology, and display compared to the previous generation.
The company introduced the devices during a global launch event held on March 5, 2026, targeting the competitive mid-range smartphone segment. Both smartphones continue the brand’s signature transparent design and Glyph lighting system while offering improved hardware and camera capabilities.
Nothing Phone 4a, 4a Pro Price in India
The Nothing Phone 4a price in India starts at ₹31,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro starts at ₹39,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
The smartphones will be available in multiple storage variants and are expected to go on sale in India later this month via online platforms.
Display and Design
Both smartphones feature high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays designed for smooth visuals and better brightness levels. The standard Phone 4a offers a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro variant upgrades the experience with a 144Hz AMOLED panel.
The design continues Nothing’s transparent aesthetic with the signature Glyph lighting interface on the back. The Pro model introduces an upgraded Glyph Matrix lighting system, while the regular variant includes a simplified Glyph Bar.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Nothing Phone 4a is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Phone 4a Pro runs on the more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. These processors aim to deliver improved performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-based tasks.
Both smartphones run Android 16-based Nothing OS, offering a clean and optimized user experience with long-term software support.
Camera Features
The new Nothing Phone 4a series focuses heavily on camera improvements. The smartphones feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with additional sensors for telephoto and ultra-wide photography.
The Pro variant also includes a high-zoom telephoto camera capable of ultra-zoom photography, making it suitable for long-distance shots and improved photography performance.
For selfies and video calls, both models offer a 32-megapixel front camera.
Battery and Other Features
The Nothing Phone 4a series comes equipped with a large battery of around 5,000mAh+ capacity and supports 50W fast charging, ensuring longer usage and faster charging times.
