Kia Seltos Likely to Get 2 New Premium Variants in India

Kia is expected to introduce two new premium variants of its popular Seltos SUV in India — GTX (O) and X-Line (O). These trims are likely to be positioned above the existing GTX and X-Line variants, offering more features at a competitive price.

Expected Features

The new (O) variants are expected to include:

  • Heads-Up Display (HUD)
  • Integrated dashcam
  • Air purifier with enhanced cabin comfort
  • Larger digital displays and premium interior elements
  • Driver seat memory settings

These additions aim to bridge the gap between mid-range and top ADAS-equipped models.

Expected Pricing

The GTX (O) and X-Line (O) variants are likely to be priced in the ₹19 lakh to ₹22 lakh (ex-showroom) range. They will sit between the current GTX/X-Line and fully loaded top variants.

Powertrain Options

The new trims are expected to retain the existing powertrains, including the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmission options.

Why It Matters

These new variants will give buyers more choice for a feature-rich Seltos without opting for the highest-priced ADAS models. This move will help Kia strengthen its position in the competitive mid-size SUV segment against rivals like the Hyundai Creta.

Kia has not yet made an official announcement on launch date or exact specifications. The new variants are expected to arrive sometime in May or June 2026.
