Noida: Apple has officially opened its fifth retail store in India on December 11th, located at DLF Mall of India, Noida. This is the company’s second store in the Delhi NCR region, following the first Delhi outlet launched in April 2023. After Bengaluru and Pune stores that opened in September 2025, Noida has become Apple’s third major retail launch this year.
CEO Tim Cook had earlier announced plans to expand Apple’s retail presence beyond Mumbai and Delhi, with four new stores across India. The Noida outlet will feature the company’s newest products, including the iPhone 17 series, M5-powered MacBook Pro, and the updated 14-inch MacBook Pro. Customers will also receive expert assistance from Apple’s team of Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and Business advisors.
India’s Most Expensive Apple Store Yet
The Noida store is Apple’s costliest retail space in India. According to CRE Matrix documents, the brand has leased 8,240 sq ft on the ground floor of DLF Mall of India.
- The first lease year is rent-free
- From the second year, Apple will pay ₹263.15 per sq ft
- This amounts to around ₹45.3 lakh per month, or over ₹5 crore annually
- Over the full lease term, the rent could reach ₹65 crore
A Store Designed for Noida’s Young Workforce
Located in Sector 18, the Noida Apple Store caters to a city with one of the highest young working populations in India. With large communities from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, Noida has become a major hub for IT and corporate employees.
Apple aims to leverage this youth-driven market by offering immersive product experiences and strengthening brand engagement.
India Becomes a Priority Growth Market for Apple
India continues to rise as a strategic market for Apple. According to IDC, the company is poised to sell 15 million iPhones in India in 2025, potentially pushing its market share above 10% for the first time.
In the September quarter, Apple became India’s fourth-largest smartphone vendor, shipping around 5 million units, marking a 25% year-on-year growth.
Tim Cook recently highlighted India as a “standout market,” noting that Apple has delivered record revenue for 15 consecutive quarters in the country.
