The actor said he does not follow trends while choosing projects and focuses only on storytelling. He also praised the Ranveer Singh starrer, calling it a strong film but emphasized that both movies belong to different genres.
Bhooth Bangla targets family audiences
Unlike the action-heavy Dhurandhar 2, Akshay highlighted that Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy designed for family viewing. He stressed that the film caters to children and families, making it a completely different cinematic experience.

Bhooth Bangla is set to release on April 10, just weeks after Dhurandhar 2, which is enjoying a blockbuster run globally. Despite the timing, Akshay believes content will ultimately decide success and remains confident about the film’s performance.
