Malabar Gold & Diamonds has announced a ₹200 crore Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan for FY2026-27, focusing on education, healthcare and social welfare. Union Minister Piyush Goyal praised the move, calling it a boost to inclusive growth.

Focus on education and empowerment

The company will spend a major share on education, including scholarships for 33,000 girls and micro-learning centres for underprivileged children. Leaders say these efforts aim to strengthen human resource development and empower young women.

Nationwide impact across sectors

The initiatives will run across more than 3,000 locations in 19 states and benefit over two lakh people. Funding also supports food distribution, healthcare, housing and environmental programmes.
