The much-awaited teaser of the epic Ramayana has created strong buzz after an exclusive IMAX preview in Los Angeles. The first glimpse, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, was screened for a select audience and received positive reactions.
The official teaser titled “Rama” is scheduled to be released worldwide on April 2, 2026, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti.

The event was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, director Nitesh Tiwari, and producer Namit Malhotra. Audience members praised the teaser’s grand scale, visual effects, and Ranbir’s portrayal of Lord Rama.
Star Cast and Release
The film stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Produced by Prime Focus Studios, the two-part saga is one of the biggest productions in Indian cinema.
The first part is expected to release around Diwali 2026, while the second part is planned for 2027.
