Where Conversations Create Change — Lok Samvad Sansthan Jaipur

Lok Samvad Sansthan (LSS) is a Jaipur-based non-profit organization in Rajasthan, established in 2001 under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958. Working at the intersection of communication, advocacy, and social development, the organization aims to strengthen the role of media and dialogue in creating informed, responsible, and empowered communities. Through partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, corporate houses, and international organizations, LSS promotes human development, youth empowerment, and sustainable communication strategies across India.

One of its flagship initiatives, “Just Ask! — Khul Ke Poochho,” is an AI-powered chatbot designed to provide accurate and confidential information on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for adolescents and youth, helping them communicate openly and make informed choices. Another major campaign, “Voices of Bharat: Yuva for Sustainability,” aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encourages youth to participate actively in sustainability and climate awareness programs; its newsletter was recently launched by Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa.

Under the leadership of Kalyan Singh Kothari, a veteran journalist and development communication expert, Lok Samvad Sansthan has emerged as a leading communication for development (C4D) organization that empowers people through storytelling, responsible journalism, and public engagement. The NGO also produces impactful publications like “Ujale Ki Ore” focusing on child rights and women empowerment, and regularly collaborates with media institutions to conduct workshops and awareness programs. With its vision of “Dialogue for Development,” Lok Samvad Sansthan continues to inspire social change in Rajasthan and beyond, bridging gaps between media, youth, and the community
